Study Abroad Assessment: Online Webcast by Academic Impressions

Photo Contest
International Education Photo Contest
In October we asked international students at the U of S and students who have participated in U of S programs outside of Canada to submit photos they took during their time abroad.
The top-voted photos were displayed during International Education Week (IEW), November 12 to 16, in the ISSAC Global Connections Lounge in Lower Place Riel. The campus community has voted for their favorites. The winners are:

Food & Celebration: Nathan Jones - Spain Fries
People & Lifestyle: Mohammad Rafati - Waskesiu Lake
Congratulations to all the winners! Prizes can be picked up at the International Student and Study Abroad Centre, Room 80 in Lower Place Riel.
ISSAC would like to thank all participants for submitting their photos and the campus community for voting. Over 900 votes were cast during the contest.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all international students who are studying at the U of S and all students who have participated in any of the following U of S programs or activities abroad:
When submitting photos, please provide:
- Your name and NSID
- Description of your photo and where it was taken
- Name of the contest category
- An explanation whether you are entering the contest as an international students in Canada or as a student who studied abroad through the U of S
- Photos should be 3 megabytes or larger and in their original size
- Student Exchange
- Short-term study abroad (Term and Taught Abroad Programs)
- Internships and Externships
- International Co-op placements
- International competitions, seminars and workshops
Submitting Photos
- Students can submit one photo per category. International students can submit photos that have been taken in Canada. Study Abroad students can submit photos that have been taken abroad. Categories are:
- People and Lifestyle
- Architecture and Landscapes
- Food and Celebration
- Deadline for photo submissions in 2012 has passed.
By entering the contest, you agree that you have the permission of all people portrayed in the photos to use and distribute their photos. All photos submitted to the International Education Photo Contest may be used for promotional purposes at any time by the International Student and Study Abroad Centre and the University of Saskatchewan.
