The following services are available to registered students, their spouse or partner and their children with a valid health card.
- Urgent and non-urgent medical treatment
- Birth control and pregnancy testing
- Testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- Mental health assessment and treatment
- Nutrition counseling
- Sport and athletic injury treatment
- Chiropractic and massage services*
- Regular physical exams and check-ups
- Immunizations, shots and injections*
- Health education
Student Health & Counselling Services includes:

- Registered nurses
- Psychiatrists
- Social worker
- Registered dietitian
- Medical and health specialists
* Fees for these services are reimbursed through the student health and dental plan.

Professional counselling, consultation, and advice is available at no cost for registered students dealing with a wide range of challenges:
- Adjusting to university
- Adjusting to a new culture
- Decision-making
- Loneliness
- Sadness or depression
- Feeling like you don’t fit in
- Anxiety or stress
- Problems with other students, professors, friends or family
- Dating and marriage concerns
- Grief
- Eating and body image issues
- Trauma
- Physical, emotional or sexual abuse
- Sexual violence
Student Health & Counselling Services includes male and female staff from a variety of backgrounds, such as clinical psychology, educational psychology and social work. All are trained at the master or doctoral level and are registered with their professional organizations.
