International Student Advisors
The International Student Office has three staff members available to assist you should you run into difficulty during your studies at the U of S. Contact the ISO if you need to book an appointment to meet with an International Student Advisor.
If you are an inbound exchange student and require advising regarding your courses or if you are having difficulties that might affect your exchange program, contact the Exchange and Study Abroad office (e-mail study.abroad@usask.ca) and request an appointment with an advisor.

Emergency loans
The Emergency Loans Program assists students experiencing temporary financial crisis, through the provision of short-term interest-free loans that allow students to complete the academic year. Emergency loans are available to students who meet eligibility criteria—those facing financial stress as a result of unanticipated and unplanned circumstances and for whom other sources of funding are not available. An appointment with an advisor in the ISO is required. To book an appointment, contact the ISO.
Notary Public and Legal Support
Notary Public
From time to time, students require documents to be ‘certified’ or ‘notarized’, or to swear an oath before a Notary Public or Commissioner for Oaths. An appointment with an advisor is required. Contact the ISO to book an appointment.
