Mission, Vision and Values
Mission
Our mission is to foster the achievement of students' potential through
the provision of mental health services. We seek to encourage excellence
in scholarly pursuits by addressing and promoting the personal and academic
development of students at the University.
Vision
We seek to promote excellence in the provision of mental health services
that are responsive to the needs of a changing and diverse student population.
Values
- We respect the dignity of individuals and their rights to privacy,
self-determination and personal development.
- We promote the values of integrity, honesty and respect. We are
committed to maximize benefit and to do no harm to all those with
whom we interact.
- We value and promote collaboration and cohesiveness as well as
diversity and individuality in relationships.

in all of our professional activities.

Student-clinicians are expected to adhere to the professional and ethical
guidelines outlined in the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists,
as well as the codes of conduct for their respective regulatory
bodies. Student-clinicians are expected to conduct themselves
in a professional manner.
