Resolving Conflict Constructively

All events Wellness

Conflict is a natural part of life brought on by our different beliefs, experiences and values. This four-part workshop series will help to develop tools and improve skills in problem-solving and conflict management.

Resolving conflict is built around having and managing difficult conversations which are inevitable and often uncomfortable but these difficult situations can become more manageable by learning how to approach them in a different way. With the use of assertive communication, understanding our perspective, gaining an understanding that conflict does not have to be personal, and the importance of addressing the difficult topics so the smaller ones become more manageable. The goal is to assist you in developing tools to understand, manage, and address difficult conversations reducing anxiety as well as working towards a resolution. This session will include theoretical discussions in group settings.

This workshop series will build on topics discussed at each session.
