Be backstage 45 minutes before your ceremony commences dressed in academic regalia. Each ceremony usually runs no longer than 2 1/2 hours. Parking is available in the mall parking lot north of TCU Place.
Students will only walk the stage once per ceremony for their highest degree level parchment at which time all degrees and certificates will be awarded. Tickets are required to attend the ceremony. Students can order 7 guest tickets through the Convocation Information channel in PAWS beginning September 6. The deadline for ordering tickets is October 11. Tickets will be emailed and are to be printed for entry at TCU.

If your guests require an invitation letter to secure travel documents, contact email@example.com. Students graduating from the College of Arts and Science are to contact the College directly for a letter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Convocation is a public event where photographs will be taken and the ceremonies will be streamed live on the internet. By attending convocation, you are giving the University of Saskatchewan permission to use any photos or other media in future promotional materials, programs, websites, etc.
If you require more than seven guest tickets, extra tickets may be available for your ceremony on a first come first serve basis. Extra tickets distribution will begin October 18 through the Convocation Information channel PAWS. You may be able to request up to 4 extra tickets.
Graduands who attend the Convocation ceremony are required to wear proper academic dress. Graduands must obtain the hood for the degree they are receiving, not for a degree they may already hold. Be sure to obtain a gown and hood prior to the time of assembly. Gowns and hoods are available on a non-refundable rental basis.
Outstanding fees and transcripts
Graduands should immediately settle all financial responsibilities with the University.
Students who have holds on his/her account pertaining to the degree they are graduating with will be allowed to graduate and attend the Convocation ceremony, but will not receive the parchment or any other official documentation of the degree, receive transcripts or be eligible to reregister until the account is cleared. The deadline to clear overdue accounts so that you may receive your parchment at the convocation ceremony is September 29.
Undergraduate graduands who have accumulated transfer credits from another post-secondary institution to satisfy the requirements for their program, but have not yet prearranged for an official transcript confirming these credits to be sent to the University of Saskatchewan, must arrange to have an official transcript faxed directly from the issuing institution to Admissions at (306) 966-2115, by October 3 to be eligible for graduation.
Students who send a fax by the above deadline must then arrange to have the original official transcript mailed directly from the issuing institution to Admissions at the University of Saskatchewan, to be received by October 12 in order to receive their degree at convocation.

1. Order online: Order your degree frame online by October 21, for pick up at TCU Place after your ceremony. Complimentary framing will be available onsite at TCU Place.
2. In person at TCU Place: Purchase your frame onsite at TCU Place on October 28 after your ceremony. Inventory may be limited. Complimentary framing will be available onsite at TCU Place
3. In person, year-round: Purchase a frame at Shop usask at Preston Crossing or the Campus Bookstore all year round.
The Convocation Office will be coordinating graduation photography through Grad Images Photography. A photo will be taken of you when you receive your degree at convocation. Proofs will be sent to your PAWS account email a few weeks after convocation, where you will have the opportunity to purchase your photos.
