
Dallas Pelly
Director, Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student CentreDallas Pelly (he/him) is a proud Saulteaux and nehiyaw with roots in Cote First Nation and Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation. He is a proud USask alumnus and graduate of the Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP). His professional journey includes working within Indigenous education including roles with Saskatoon Tribal Council, TakingITGlobal, Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT), and most recently the Canadian Light Source. These experiences have shaped his leadership philosophy and strengthened his commitment to fostering culturally grounded, student-centered learning environments.
In his role as Director, Dallas provides strategic leadership and direction for the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre which offers academic and social supports, cultural programming, and wellness initiatives, all with the shared goal of supporting Indigenous student success. Dallas takes pride in building partnerships across campus and working closely with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, students, and colleagues.
Outside of work, Dallas is a proud husband and father to three young boys.
