
Lori Ann Delorme
Indigenous Student Services Manager, Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student CentreLori Ann Delorme is a Métis woman born and raised in Cochin, Saskatchewan, and has spent 28 years at the University of Saskatchewan, with her entire career based at the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre (formerly the Aboriginal Students’ Centre). Her strong Métis identity and lived experience inform her deep commitment to supporting Indigenous students, driving her passion for creating inclusive, culturally grounded environments where students can thrive academically, personally, socially and culturally.
As Indigenous Student Services Manager, Lori collaborates with university partners to develop, implement, and evaluate services that support Indigenous student success and engagement. Her work includes transition strategies, ongoing academic and personal support such as monthly check-ins, tutoring, academic workshops, and wellness initiatives like Fitness 4U, nutrition and food security programs, and student recreation teams. A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Lori is also committed to her own professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
