New Indigenous Student Welcome

Kick off your first year, meet fellow Indigenous students and start your journey together!

The welcome will provide you with:

• Welcome and orient first-year Indigenous students to the University of Saskatchewan and the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre in a way that fosters a sense of belonging and community.
• Introduce students to the Centre’s staff, programs, and services and the Office of the Vice Provost Indigenous Engagement team.
• Connect new students with their peers to encourage early relationship-building and support networks.
• Enjoy icebreakers, mini expo, candy bar and a scavenger hunt.
• Win some great prizes.
