Time: 5–6:30 pm

Location: USask Community Centre (Marquis 104)

Join us for an evening of art, remembrance, and sweets. Sugar skulls are a beautiful part of Day of the
Dead, a tradition in which families honor loved ones who have passed with flowers, candles, and colorful
skulls, often with a name written on the forehead. It’s a time for memory and love, not fear.
You’ll get your own skull and a full table of icing, colors, and decorations to make it yours. Write the
name of someone you’re remembering, or simply let your creativity lead. We’ll open with a short talk on
the meaning behind the tradition, then spend the evening decorating, chatting, and enjoying our candy
table. A small remembrance table will be set up if you’d like to place a photo or name card there.
No experience needed, and you can take your skull home. Decorated skulls are for display, not eating.
Candy ingredients will be labeled for allergens. All are welcome.

Peer Health USask is a Student Wellness Centre (SWC) initiative and run by student staff
