Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

Ast Scholarship Fund

Value: Varies
Number offered: 2; one recipient from the College of Education and one recipient from the College of Arts and Science
Eligibility: Open to continuing students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education degree program in the College of Education and to continuing students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program, or who are majoring in Fine Arts (Art {Art History or Studio Art}, Drama, Music) in the College of Arts and Science.
Selection criteria: Academic achievement
Donor: A testamentary gift from the estate of Violet Ast in Memory of Frank Ast, Marie Ast, Violet Ast, and Frances Ast.
