Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

SIOS Global Students In Need Scholarship

Eligibility: Open to continuing undergraduate and graduate international and refugee students who have presented financial need to continue or complete their studies. Priority will be given to those negatively impacted by life events outside of their control and those who are not receiving other awards or scholarships to fund their studies. To be eligible students must:
  • be in good academic standing,
  • demonstrate and maintain registration in each of the fall and winter semesters,
  • submit a statement of no more than two pages outlining their financial circumstances and their plan to pay for studies long-term,
  • demonstrate financial need.

Deadline: August 30 and November 16
