Celeste Bird is a Student Engagement Career Peer Educator at the Career Services Centre. She is entering her second year at the University of Saskatchewan, pursuing a degree in Sociology with a concentration in Indigenous Justice and Criminology. Celeste is a proud alumni of the Indigenous Student Employment Readiness Program (ISERP) from the Winter 2025 Cohort. Celeste also serves as the Co-Director of Women's Culture and Events on the Indigenous Students' Union. This summer, Celeste worked at oyateki Partnership's Central Office as a Strategic Projects Assistant, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening networks of support that empower Indigenous youth in their pursuit of education and employment pathways.

Celeste is passionate about connecting USask student groups with the supports and resources available to help them feel confident and empowered in their career journeys. With a strong focus on community engagement, she strives to create inclusive and welcoming spaces where students can access Career Services programming and build meaningful connections.

Outside of her academic and professional roles, Celeste enjoys spending time with friends and relatives, being out on the land, and practicing personal wellness.
