Starting this fall, join ISSAC for monthly lunch-hour gatherings designed especially for first-year international students at USask. These sessions are a chance to connect with peers, share experiences, and explore topics that matter most during your first year of study—all while enjoying a variety of culturally diverse meals.

Our second monthly gathering for first-year international students will be on Friday, October 17. This session will focus on preparing for winter in Saskatchewan—from choosing the right clothing, to staying safe and healthy during the colder months, and finding resources on and off campus to help you get ready.

Enjoy a lunch featuring ethnic food while connecting with fellow first-year students, sharing experiences, and building community.

Join us to learn practical tips for thriving in your first Canadian winter—and to make new friends along the way!
