When:

Location: ISSAC Training Room (Room 70.4, Lower Place Riel, 1 Campus Drive)

Starting Fall 2025 Term, ISSAC is hosting monthly lunch-hour gatherings designed for first-year international students at USask. These sessions are a great opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences, and explore topics that matter most during your first year, all while enjoying a variety of culturally diverse meals.

Our March First-Year International Student Check-In focuses on Help-Seeking and Knowing Where to Turn. University life can be challenging, and knowing where to find the right support can make a big difference.

This session will highlight academic and immigration-related support, including where to seek help if you’re struggling academically, have questions about your student status, or need guidance with processes such as academic appeals. We’ll also talk about how to recognize when to ask for help and how to take the first step.

Enjoy a lunch featuring cultural food, connect with fellow students, and leave feeling more confident about navigating support systems at USask.
