Title of event: Road to Wellness: Explore Textiles
Join us to explore a variety of textile materials and create something based on a given prompt. This activity explores our sensory relationship with materials as well as the expressive nature of object creation.
Emily (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree through the University of Regina as well as completing both a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours and a Bachelor of Art History degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Emily is an interdisciplinary artist who has developed a figurative practice in painting, drawing, installation sculpture and relational projects. She was raised and currently resides on Treaty 6 Territory, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, having Ukrainian and Croatian ancestry. Her artistic focus is on the human condition and exploring inter-connection between the physical and the emotional body in relationship
