Peer Health is Building Vision Boards
All events Wellness
Vision boards are based on the same theory as the law of attraction, which stems from the belief that the universe creates and provides for you what your thoughts are focused on. Therefore, by building a Vision Board students will create a collage of images representing their goals and dreams. These images include cut-out pictures from magazines and words that help inspire you to manifest your dreams and achieve your goals.
This event intends to offer a Holistic Approach to Wellness for Students. With a holistic approach, we can prioritize the students’ overall health by creating a safe environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
During the event, students will learn what manifestation includes and how the technique of building a Vision Board is rooted in science, such as psychology, sociology, and histology. This means that students will learn that when we say something to ourselves enough, we are more likely to start believing it in a promising way that drives us to want to change.
Therefore, vision boards are based on the same theory as the law of attraction, which stems from the belief that the universe creates and provides for you what your thoughts are focused on.
Peer Health USask is a Student Wellness Centre (SWC) initiative and run by student staff and volunteers. All students have Peer Health volunteer training. All programs have the support of SWC professional staff.
