Balfour W. Currie Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility: Any field of research carried out in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics. Open to full-time graduate students in either Master's or Doctoral programs, but with preference given to students working in upper atmospheric physics.
Donor: This scholarship arises from a fund established by the family and many friends of Dr. Balfour W. Currie who was a leading researcher in auroral and atmospheric physics. Dr. Currie founded the Institute of Space and Atmospheric Studies and later served as the Head of the Department of Physics. Dr. Currie was also Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Research and Vice-President (Research) at the University of Saskatchewan.
Apply: No deadline as the award is made annually by the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics provided there is a deserving candidate. The award is not normally renewable.
