University of Saskatchewan Graduate Research Fellowship

EligibilityThe primary purpose of the award is to further the student's education and training (e.g. the related research work as a requirement of the student's academic program).

Students must:
  • have a GPA of 80% or greater;
  • be registered full-time as a fully qualified student in a graduate program;
  • not be beyond the 4th year of a Master's or 5th year of a Doctoral program.
ApplyStudents must be nominated by their home unit/department/school.

The College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies will provide $8,000 towards the student's scholarship. The student's home unit/department/school must be able to provide a matching contribution of $8,000. The source of the required matching funding must be from faculty research grants or contracts from external sources only. No internal university funding (i.e. devolved funding not eligible) may be used for this purpose .

The primary purpose of the award is to further the student’s education and training (e.g. the related research work is a requirement of the student’s academic program) and there is no service requirement beyond that required of the student to complete their academic program.
