Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Bill and Sharon Wilson Practice Experience Fund

Value: $500
Number offered: 6
Eligibility: These bursaries are to provide financial support to assist undergraduate students in their final year of study in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition with the costs associated with their pharmacy practical experience rotations or nutrition internships/practicums.

To be eligible, students must be in the fourth year of the pharmacy or third year of the nutrition undergraduate program.

Students must submit the following information:
  1. location of internship/practicum;
  2. rent/accommodation costs;
  3. financial need (based on the financial need calculator;
  4. length of time of rotation(s);
  5. any family obligations.
