Bursaries
October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships
June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.
Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

| Eligibility: | This award is open to second year students enrolled in the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. The recipient of this award may not also receive any other college administered award. |
| Selection criteria: | The recipient of this award will be the student ranked number 39 in their class academically. In case of a tie, the student with the highest average in the previous academic year will receive the award. If the recipient of the award has already won a college related award then the next student below them academically will be chosen, as determined by the Award Committee. |
