Bursaries
October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships
June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.
Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

| Eligibility: | This award is presented annually to a first or second year student based on demonstrated leadership involvement in activities internal to the College of Kinesiology and the University of Saskatchewan. This can include activities such as executive membership in the Kinesiology Students’ Society, and/or volunteer activities such as PAAL, peer mentorship and/or a contributing leadership role in other unique initiatives developed by undergraduate students. The nominee will have made a significant impact in a leadership capacity and maintained a minimum of a good standing academic average. |
| Apply: | College of Kinesiology faculty, staff and/or students can put forward nominations. The College of Kinesiology Awards Committee will adjudicate all nominations and forward a recommendation to the Dean. The name of the selected student meeting the academic average requirement and a brief biography and reasons for nomination will be provided to CCUPEKA in the fall of each year. The award will be presented at the annual College of Kinesiology Awards Day each November. |
