Roy Atkinson Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is in recognition of Mr. Atkinson's contributions to political, economic, and social life of this province and this country, particularly his work as President of the National Farmers' Union (NFU) to forward the cause of farmers and farm life.

Students graduating with a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Sociology from this University and have been admitted to pursue an M.A. degree in Sociology in this department with particular interest in Agricultural Sociology (e.g. farm women and work, rural depopulation, health and safety on the farm, and future of family farms).
