Hammer Limnology Scholarship

Eligibility: Open to students who :
  • have completed a four year undergraduate degree in Biology/Botany/Zoology with an overall average of at least 75%;
  • have a class in each of Limnology and Ecology plus one other class in Aquatic Biology/Ecology/Limnology;
  • be admitted to a graduate program in Limnology;
  • have graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Biology and registering in a graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan or at another university in Canada OR a student graduate from another university but registering in a graduate limnology program at the University of Saskatchewan.
Donor: An annual award donated by Dr. Ted Hammer, Professor Emeritus, Biology, to a promising Limnology student.
Apply: Candidates must submit, electronically, a proposal of one page outlining their professional development opportunity, the academic benefit they will receive by attending, and how it will help them in their career, and a brief curriculum vitae to the address given below.
