Eligibility: | Open to continuing undergraduate or graduate students who are studying in the natural sciences in the College of Arts; in a degree program in the College of Engineering; or a degree program in the Edwards School of Business. To be eligible, students must submit evidence that they emigrated from Syria to Canada. Documentation may include, but not be limited to, immigration or travel documents; home country identification; or high school transcripts. Refugees who lack official documentation of Syrian origin may submit a personal statement for evaluation. Eligibility does not require applicants to have come directly to Canada from Syria, but will also include those who may have passed through other countries and taken longer periods of time to arrive in Canada. |
