Affinity Credit Union Indigenous Leadership Award

Eligibility: Open to Indigenous students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs at the University of Saskatchewan. To be eligible, students must:
  • Be Métis, First Nations (status or non-status), or Inuit person of Canada;
  • Provide evidence of Métis, First Nations, or Inuit identity including, but not limited to, a Certificate of Indian Status or proof of registration, a Métis card, a letter from their community, or a letter from an Elder;
  • Submit a one page statement which demonstrates their leadership through active community engagement and/or involvement;
  • Two community references speaking to the applicant's leadership and community engagement/involvement.
Selection criteria: Based on the merits of the submitted documents.
