Jackfish SEC Award in Spectroelectrochemistry

Value: $5,000
Number offered: 1 award annually
Eligibility: This award is open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, with priority given to graduate students. The applicants must demonstrate a strong research connection to spectroelectrochemistry, surface sensitive vibrational spectrochemistry, and/or electrochemistry.
Apply:
  • A one-page letter from the applicant describing their research connection to the areas of spectroelectrochemistry, surface sensitive vibrational spectrochemistry, and/or electrochemistry. Applicants should also address financial need in the letter. The statement on financial need will be treated as confidential and will be destroyed after the award is issued
  • Academic transcripts from the applicant
  • A letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor(s) stating their achievements in the aforementioned areas of research and providing pertinent details on the applicant’s funding situation
