This education group is available for students interested in learning more about their anxiety and healthier ways to approach it.

Thursday Mar 7: What is anxiety? Understanding our body’s alarm system.
Thursday Mar 14: Emotional Awareness: Approaching emotions differently and building emotional tolerance.
Thursday Mar 21: Thought Awareness: Identifying unhelpful thought patterns and challenging automatic thoughts.
Thursday Mar 28: 
Thursday Apr 4: Behavioral Awareness: Why avoidance doesn’t work in the long run.
Thursday Apr 11: Managing Setbacks: Moving forward with a plan.

 

  • Each group will have a focus on creating a safe and welcoming environment for every student.
  • You will not be called upon to speak in front of the group. Only share if you want!
  • There will be no role playing
  • Attend as many times as you like!
