Each year, the University of Saskatchewan has continued to encourage our campus community to march together in the Saskatoon Pride Parade as a way to uplift, honour and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. With this tradition, USask is proud to bring awareness about Pride Month to our campus, home to our diverse community of over 25,000 members including students, staff and faculty. For USask to continue being a part of the Saskatoon Pride Parade is driven by our bold ambitions and to be the university that the world needs.
All members of the USask community are invited to walk with USask in the parade or support from the sidelines along the parade route (make sure to look for the USSU and USask entries).
Time: Parade starts at 12 pm and will take 60-75 minutes to complete (meet between 11:15-11:45 am)
Location: Downtown Saskatoon along the parade route. To walk with USask, meet up with the group between 24th Street and Spadina Crescent and along the University Bridge underpass in the parade's marshalling area between 11:15-11:45 am. Specific location information will be forthcoming closer to the parade. Volunteers will be available at both parade entrances to help you find USask's marshalling spot.
