Join Peer Health for a discussion on how principles of mindfulness can be applied to our everyday lives to improve our stress management skills and overall mental well-being. Every week, we will discuss a new topic and end the session with a 10-minute guided meditation.

About the instructor, facilitator or group

I am 3rd year education student. I have lived experience of mental illness and use mindfulness as a positive coping tool. I run mindfulness workshops for student groups on campus and do weekly meditation sessions for Peer Health USask. I am also the mental health outreach coordinator at Peer Health USask.

Peer Health USask is a Student Wellness Centre (SWC) initiative and run by student staff and volunteers. All students have Peer Health volunteer training.  All programs have the support of SWC professional staff.
