Naloxone Education and Training for Students/Staff at USASK

Naloxone education and training is being offered to decrease the risks of opioid overdoses in our communities. The education and training will give people the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to the signs of an opioid overdose. Naloxone has the potential to reverse an overdose and save a life. Everyone who attends training will leave with a Naloxone kit.
This event is for students or staff interested in Naloxone Education, awareness and Training to be able to respond to opioid overdose. This is an interactive learning opportunity that will allow you to practice administering naloxone into a stress ball. Practice kits will be onsite, and everyone will leave with their own Naloxone Kit.
Naloxone Education/Awareness & Administration Training will be facilitated by Chelsea Korpan-Sparks, Harm Reduction Counsellor at the Student Wellness Centre.
