If you’re travelling from outside Saskatoon and looking for accommodations close to the university, consider staying in our University of Saskatchewan residences. Blocks of rooms have been reserved for the nights of Friday, May 31 and Friday, June 7. Due to limited availability, stays must be booked at least two weeks in advance. The nearest hotel accommodations are available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon East – University on College Drive next to the Stadium Parkade.

Drop-off locations

Getting a ride to campus? The most convenient drop-off location is just outside the Health Sciences Building on Dental Court, just off of Wiggins Road. Voyageur Court, outside the Memorial Union Building off of Bottomley Road is also just a short walk away.

Transit

If you are travelling via Saskatoon Transit, plan a route that stops at the Place Riel Terminal.

Parking

The greatest availability of public paid parking is at Stadium Parkade, located south of College Drive and a short 10-15 minute walk to the Health Sciences Building.

The closest public paid parking is available in in Lot 1, just across Wiggins Road from the Health Sciences Building, or in the underground Health Sciences Parkade located beneath the Health Sciences Building, with access off Hospital Drive.

Pay lots at the university are unstaffed and fully automated. Accepted methods of payment you can use when exiting include most major credit cards and cash in denominations of $20 or less.

After you register for your live stream and/or online chat, we will email you a link to access your online event. 

On the day of your event, you can join in one of two ways:

1) Using a desktop or laptop computer

Click the link and you will be taken directly to the page where you can join your online event. You may be prompted to download or run an extension to use the Cisco WebEx Meetings tool, which you should do.

To join the online event, enter your display name (which will be visible to other participants) and your email address. You can use either your personal or USask email address.

2) Using a mobile device (smartphone or tablet)
Android | iOS | Blackberry | Windows Phone

To join an online event on your mobile device, you will be prompted to download the Cisco WebEx Meetings app. After downloading the app, follow these steps to join your online event:

  • Enter a display name (which will be visible to other participants)
  • Enter your email address. You can use either your personal or USask email address.
  • If prompted, enter the site URL: usask.webex.com
  • Select Join Meeting
