Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

APEGS Geoscience Book Prize

EligibilityOffered annually to students who have completed at least 90 credit units at the University of Saskatchewan and are majoring in an area defined as Geosciences. Geosciences includes: Geology, Geophysics, Palaeobiology, Physical Geography, and Environmental Earth Sciences. In addition, students must have taken the courses necessary for acquiring professional registration with the APEGS as a geoscientist. Selection will be based on the highest cumulative average at the end of third year on a minimum of 90 credit units.
