Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

Tom and Dorothy Boyd Trust in Fine Arts

Value: Varies, approximately $2,000
Number offered: Varies
Eligibility: Music Scholarship - Offered annually to students entering their final year of study in an undergraduate degree program in either the B.Ed./B.Mus.(Mus.Ed.) or B.Mus. program. Selection will be based on academic achievement.
Drama Scholarship - Open to graduate students in the first or second year of a Drama degree program, and undergraduate students in the final year of a Drama degree program
Art and Art History Fund - To support the costs of visiting artists to do studio visits and workshops with graduate students; and/or to support field trips to museums and art galleries in major centres.
Selection criteria: Academic achievement

Apply: Drama Scholarship - Submit a proposal to asg.studentawards@usask.ca detailing how your participation or study in some aspect of the theatre scene would benefit from the scholarship, as well as a statement of your teaching or performance career intentions in Drama.
No application required for the Music Scholarship, or for the Art and Art History Fund.
