Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Dennis and Sharon Johnson Family Huskie Athletics Scholarship

Number offered: 1
Eligibility: Open to Huskie student-athletes who are pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition degree, as determined by the Awards Committee. In order to be eligible, applicants must belong to one of the following award preference hierarchies:
  • Pharmacy and Nutrition student athletes on the Men’s or Women’s Hockey Team
  • Pharmacy and Nutrition student athletes on any athletics team
  • Student athletes on the Men’s or Women’s Hockey Team who are pursuing studies in other colleges
The recipients must have achieved at least the minimum average required under USport guidelines and adhere to all other U Sport athlete financial awards policies.
