Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Michael S. Misanchuk Memorial Award in Art and Art History

Value: Varies - $1,000 minimum
Number offered: 1
Eligibility: To provide financial assistance to enable a student to travel to a conference, museum or other event related to art history.

Open to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 12 credit units in Art History and have achieved a minimum cumulative average of 85% on all art history courses completed at the time of application.
Selection criteria: Selection will be made on the basis of the outcomes and benefits the travel will have for the student as described in the student's travel proposal.
Donor: Family and friends of the late Michael S. Misanchuk (B.A. Hnrs. '98).
