Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Milton Fair Scholarship for Aboriginal Engineering Students

Value: $1,500
Number offered: 1
Eligibility: Open to Aboriginal Students who have completed at least one year of study in the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree (B.E.) program. In order to be eligible, students must be of Aboriginal Ancestry, which includes Status Indian, Métis or Inuit descent, and must provide verification of Aboriginal ancestry. Students must have 65% average on all courses attempted during the last Regular Session in order to be eligible.

Preference will be given to students specializing in one of the following fields (in preferential order):
  1. Electrical Engineering;
  2. Civil Engineering; or
  3. Mechanical Engineering.
