Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Mary Lou Ogle Award for the Study of Communications

Eligibility: Students must be entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts degree program with a major in English. To be eligible, students must:
  • be residents of Saskatchewan
  • be graduates of a Saskatchewan high school
  • submit an essay of approximately 500 words outlining career intentions within the field of communications
  • demonstrate financial need
Selection criteria: Financial need
Donor: This award, established in memory of Mary Lou Ogle, is an endowment held and administered by the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
