Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Nasser Awards in the Museum of Antiquities

Value: $1,000 (minimum value)
Number offered: 2
Eligibility: Open to current University of Saskatchewan students in any program of study who volunteer, work as summer employees or work as student assistants in the Museum of Antiquities. Candidates must:
  • have worked or volunteered in the Museum of Antiquities for at least one year
  • work or volunteer for an average minimum of three hours per week during the regular class schedule, as documented by the Director of the Museum
  • demonstrate financial need
Selection criteria: Financial need and the positive impact made by the student volunteer at the Museum of Antiquities.
