Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

Susan's Award for First Nations Female Students with Dependent Children

EligibilityOpen to continuing female First Nations undergraduate students. To be eligible, students must:
  • Provide proof of First Nations identity, including but not limited to, a Certificate of Indian Status or proof of registration, a letter from their home community, a letter from an Elder, etc.;
  • Be a parent of a dependent child or children. For each dependent, the applicant must submit the children's name, health card number and expiry date to demonstrate that there are dependents living in their care. No other financial information will be required.
