Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

BBM Canada Scholarship

Value: $4,000
Number offered: 1
Eligibility: Offered annually to a student in the final year of an Honours degree program with the intention of entering a graduate program, anywhere in Canada.

Selection will be based on demonstrated achievement in statistical and/or quantitative research methodology in a course of study at a Canadian university, three letters of reference including one from the applicant's course director or advisor, and a 250 word essay written by the applicant, outlining his/her interest and potential career path in measurement of electronic media and related consumer behaviors. Studies could be in statistics, research, computer applications, marketing, or other fields that lead to measurement of electronic media audiences. The student may also submit a copy of any course project or paper on research he/she has previously completed.
