Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

ADSC Scholarship

Value: $750 to $1,500 per semester
Number offered: 14
Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an ABET or CEAB accredited engineering program or be a graduate from such a program, and must plan to enter or continue graduate school during the current academic year.
  • A minimum of fourteen scholarships will be awarded for the academic year beginning in the fall semester.
  • Full-time students are defined as being enrolled in 12 or more graduate school hours a semester.
  • Part-time students are those enrolled in less than 12 graduate school hours, who also must work full- or part-time.

In addition to the scholarship, winners will be flown (travel and lodging expenses paid) to the ADSC Annual Meeting where they will be formally introduced to the membership. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to meet industry leading contractors, engineers, equipment manufacturers, technical affiliates, etc. Attending the ADSC Annual Meeting to receive your scholarship is strongly recommended and a worthwhile trip.
