Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Did you do well in your classes? Consider applying for scholarships.

McCall MacBain Scholarship

EligibilityTo apply, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a bachelor's degree, or be on track to graduate before August 2022
  • Be planing to apply for Fall 2022 admission to an eligible full-time master's or professional program at McGill University
Selection CriteriaDuring the selection process, award adjudicators will look for:
  • Exceptional character
  • Community engagement
  • Leadership potential
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Academic strength and intellectual curiosity
ApplyTo apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, you will need to complete two application processes: An information session for students interested in applying in the fall of 2023 will be held February 27, 4pm in the Neatby-Timlin Theatre (Arts 241).
