Roman and Sonia Stratychuk Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility

Open to students who are continuing a graduate degree program at the University of Saskatchewan and whose studies and/or research relate to Ukrainian studies. Students must be pursuing their studies and/or research through a department associated with either the College of Education or the College of Arts & Science.

Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement as determined by the Graduate Awards Committee. Minimum acceptable GPA is 80%.

Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.

The Roman and Sonia Stratychuk (of Saskatoon, SK) scholarship was established in recognition of the 75th anniversary of the University of Saskatchewan and celebrates the role of the University in the educational and cultural life of this province.

  • a letter describing your program of study and how it relates to Ukrainian studies
  • your CV
  • please include a confidential letter of reference from either the Graduate Chair of your unit or the Chair of your Advisory Committee. This letter can be sent to us at gradstudies.awards@usask.ca.
