Hantelman Humanities Scholarships

EligibilityThe student must be a full-time registered graduate student in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or Fine Arts in the College of Arts and Science with no other major source of funding. Major funding is considered to be no more than $17,000.
DonorA bequest from the late Dr. L. H. Hantelman of Tyner.
ApplyNominations are accepted from the Department Graduate Chair, on behalf of the department, in the form of a letter with appropriate attachments outlining the following:
  • Student's name, program, proposed thesis topic, name of supervisor;
  • Evidence of academic merit and commitment to research; and
  • Statement of the relevant criteria as to why the department feels this is a deserving student for the award.
    The nominations can be emailed to gradstudies.awards@usask.ca.
DeadlineThe call for applications is distributed every fall.
