University of Saskatchewan Dean's Scholarship

EligibilityThe intent of the Dean's Scholarship is to attract and recruit high-calibre students to the University of Saskatchewan. These are entrance awards only and are not available to students who have already started the graduate program for which they are requesting funding. These awards will be offered to students who have outstanding academic records, show research promise, and are registering for the first time in a thesis or dissertation-based graduate program in January, May or September of 2019 at the University of Saskatchewan.

To be eligible to apply for a Dean’s Scholarship, the student’s entrance GPA must be 85.0%.

Note: Students must be nominated by their proposed supervisor or Graduate Chair. Applications directly from students will not be accepted.
ApplyNomination package:
  • A completed Dean's Scholarship nomination form
  • Photocopies of official transcripts from all attended post-secondary institutions (U of S not required). Do not send original transcripts
  • A list of publications and presentations (found with the nomination form). CVs are not required for this application and will not be used to provide the list of publications and presentations.
If submitting the nomination package via e-mail, make sure that all documents are in PDF format.
