Gerry "Git" Rempel Memorial Graduate Scholarship

ValueApprox. $2,500 (The specific annual amount will be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the financial resources available.)
EligibilityThis scholarship is to recognize superior academic performance of a graduate student in his or her first or second year of study in a Master of Science degree program, who has demonstrated athletic and leadership abilities.

Open to students in the first or second year of study in a Master of Science degree program with an academic average of 85%. Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.

Preference will be given to students who:
  • are pursuing a Master of Science in Biology or Mathematics and Statistics
  • demonstrate athletic ability in Huskie level athletics.
DonorThis award is made possible by the generosity of the Rempel family to recognize graduate students who've demonstrated superior academic performance as well as athletic and leadership abilities.
ApplyApplication package:
Apply online. You will need to include the following:
  • a brief statement, no more than two pages in length, describing your athletic and leadership abilities
  • a letter of recommendation from an individual that can support your statement
  • photocopies of your official transcripts from the last degree you complete. You do not have to provide transcripts from the University of Saskatchewan.
