Norm Bromberger Research Bursary

EligibilityThis bursary has been established in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by Norm Bromberger to the development of credit unions and co-operatives in Saskatchewan and across Canada. Bromberger was Research Director and then Chief Executive Officer of Credit Union Central, for a total of twenty-seven years of service with the credit union system of Saskatchewan. He also played a prominent role in developing Credit Union Central of Canada and establishing other co-operatively owned financial service organizations.

The criteria for application are:
  • involvement in co-operatives and/or credit unions as a volunteer or employee
  • a supporting statement explaining how the proposed study will contribute to credit unions and/or co-operatives
  • an understanding that a copy of the completed work will be submitted to Canadian Credit Union and Co-Op Resource Centres
