Bursaries

October 1st is the deadline to apply for most bursaries offered by the university. Bursaries are usually given to students in financial need, though some bursaries may have additional criteria. Recipients will be notified by early February.

Scholarships

June 1st is the deadline for a large number of scholarships on campus. Scholarships are normally granted for academic achievement or leadership experiences. Recipients will be notified by the first day of classes.

Law Foundation of Saskatchewan's Exchange/Internship Program

EligibilityOpen to students pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Saskatchewan. To be considered, applicants must provide: a curriculum vitae (which includes where they completed their high school education); a description of their proposed internship; a letter of intent; a budget outlining their anticipated expenses (transportation, accommodation, etc.).
Selection CriteriaThe internships will be awarded based on the quality of the candidate's proposal; relevant experience (community-based organizations, NGO); abilities, interests and skills relevant to host organization; and financial need.
