Student Travel Award

EligibilityThe purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students to enable them to participate in:
  • academic-related conferences,
  • academic competitions,
  • U of S Study Abroad,
  • and other university activities.
  • Requirements: A completed application and all the supporting documents requested in the application must be submitted to ISSAC at least one month prior to start of the conference, program or other activity. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The application requires that you have all supporting documents, so ensure you have all supporting documents at least one month prior to your travel. All students traveling abroad will be required to complete the university's International Travel Registry as part of their application process. Applicants will be contacted by email once they have access to the registry. Funding will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants until Student Travel Award funds have been fully expended. Activities will not be funded retroactively. ApplyStarting in September 2013, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. A completed application package must be submitted to ISSAC at least one month prior to start of the conference, program or other activity. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. DeadlineFunding is provided to eligible applicants on first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for Student Travel Award applications is one month before the estimated start of the conference, event or other activity but you are welcome to submit your application as soon as you have all the required supporting documents.
